Rhian Watson
Certified Colon Hydrotherapist
My awareness of natural healing actually began as a child. Growing up in both the United States and the West Indies, I learned from my grandmothers about herbs and foods that can heal the body. I always had a strong desire to help the sick, which prompted me to pursue the Pre-Med program in college as my concentration. Upon completing my studies, it was clear that allopathic medicine was not the path for me. I decided to follow my instinct and expand my studies to the arts (Music and Theatre) where I had always found solace. I went back to university to study Vocal Performance and Theatre in Colorado, and I found my education encompassed so much more than the arts. Aside from developing as an artist, I found that my spiritual, mental, and physical awareness became keener during my time in Colorado. I began to learn more about our connection with the earth, the importance of how we grow food, and the principles of holistic healing and veganism. Since my studies, I've continued on this path and along with being a performing artist, I also became a certified yoga instructor and holistic health counselor, and most recently a colon hydrotherapist.
Although I was aware of tissue cleansing early in my life, I had no idea of the importance of colonics until adulthood. For many years, I experienced a disconnected and heavy sensation in my pelvis, and struggled with constipation and hypoglycemia. I decided to look for a lasting solution. After extensive research I decided to try colon hydrotherapy. I committed to receiving treatments regularly, fine-tuned my diet, and found that it made all the difference for me. The heavy feeling I was once burdened with is alleviated, and I no longer struggle with constipation. My body and mind are lighter and I feel completely transformed. This healing experience inspires me to want to support others in their own transformations.
Each client has a unique background and a distinct constitution, which is constantly changing and evolving. As a result, every colonic will be different and it is my goal to support each client in facilitating their growth and exploration of the lifestyle. I believe healing and balance occur through development in all areas of our being - mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical. Although colon hydrotherapy treatments are directed towards the physical body, they are complimentary and supportive of other ways we endeavor to grow.
I am honored to be a part of the LYT family and look forward to meeting and working with you.
